A decision about the foundation of EMOS subsidiary in Poland was reached at the end of 2003 due to the Polish customers´ increasing demands for EMOS products. As a result EMOS PL sp. z.o.o. in Bielsko-Biala came into operation in February 2004.

In the beginning, the company concentrated on several key customers who already had been cooperating with EMOS before, however, the main commercial aim of the subsidiary was to make the EMOS products familiar to the end customers and large amount of wholesales in the whole country. Poland was then divided into three trading areas (Central, North-East and South-West regions). The company created inner departments:

-Trade Department (consisted of the Managing Director and Sales Managers)
-Logistics (distribution and warehouse employees)
-Marketing and Advertising

Thanks to the department division EMOS PL was able to aim for its main goal –sell EMOS products in the whole country.

At the end of 2004 EMOS PL offered its services also to smaller wholesales and retail shops located app. within 100 km from the company headquarters in Bielsko - Biala. As a natural consequence EMOS PL started to coordinate also retail sales network and created new jobs for sales representatives who became active salesmen in this region.

The customer demands were continually increasing and as a result EMOS PL created new jobs in the company, mainly in the logistics department. This system enhancement enabled order dispatching within one working day.

Subsequent years meant growth and continuous development of EMOS PL. Sp. z.o.o. on the Polish market. EMOS products became well-known for Polish customers.

As the company gradually developed, new job positions were created (technical support and quality control). One of the goals for 2007 is also to acquire the ISO certificate for the quality control.

Company profile:

EMOS PL Sp. z.o.o. is the exclusive distributor of EMOS products for the Polish market. Main product offer includes: extension cables and sockets, flash lights, chargers and power sources. We also sell LCD products such as alarms, thermometers, weather stations, multimeters, thermostats, wireless chimes and many other products that belong to the electro range.

EMOS PL also offers chargers and batteries under EMOS own trademark “RAVER”. The battery range includes also alkaline and rechargeable batteries.

More than three-year experience with Polish market makes EMOS PL flexible to the needs of Polish customers. As a proof we can show data which indicates that in 2004 chargers were the bearing products of the company and now three years later it is the extension cords. Other products have constant share in the sale statistics. Position of the company on the Polish market and its continual development enable EMOS PL to achieve better and better business results. In 2005 we experienced 80% turnover increase and in 2006 almost 40 % in the total sales figures.
