EMOS SK s.r.o. is one of the most significant electro stock suppliers for Slovakia. The company is also a direct importer of GP brand, the distributor of EMOS, Commax, Farfisa, Strong, Opentel, Osram and VARTA brands for Slovak market. The company was founded in 1993 as an “electrical accessories wholesale” company under the name EMOS – electro s.r.o.
In order to become sale representatives of the VARTA brand products for the Slovak market we established Megacell SR, spol. s.r.o. in June 2000. On Dec 31st 2000 both companies were consolidated under common subject Megacell SR, spol. s.r.o. which distributed not only VARTA products but also complete EMOS product range.
The company went though a dynamic development of product range expansion and also material and technical upgrading of its quarters. The company became a holder of the ISO 9001-2000 quality control certificate.
On Jan 1st 2004 the name of the company was changed to EMOS SK s.r.o. The main reason for re-naming was the implementation of common trade and marketing policy under the EMOS trade block (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Slovenia) and since the beginning of 2007 EMOS SK s.r.o. is a direct importer of GP batteries, chargers and flashlights for Slovak market.
Currently, EMOS SK s.r.o. has over 60 employees, 1500 active clients and the product offer includes more than 1200 items. We offer to our customers: batteries, accumulators, battery chargers, flashlights and sources of light, digital alarm clocks, thermometers and weather stations, extension cords and sockets, coaxial cables, LAN cables, conductors, connectors, HF equipment, satellites and accessories, TV antennas, heating bodies, monitoring and security systems Commax and ACI Farfisa and other products.

The distribution of goods in Slovakia is now executed by our own distribution channels, business representatives and external distribution partners. We cover 100% of Slovakia.
Our main objectives are wholesales, retail shops, regional and international chains.
Currently we trade with following chains: Tesco, Billa, Metro, Kaufland, Carrefour, Barczi, Fotolab, Coop etc.
